The third minister was Rev Thomas Shaw, (lic. Antrim) who was ordained on 20th December 1710 but he joined the non - subscribing Presbytery of Antrim in 1726 and died in Oct 1731 while still a member of it. In 1732 the congregation, all 200 families, rejoined the Synod of Ulster and wished to be in the Route Presbytery. This was done and supplies were given.
